My handful of 3.5 books have been gathering dust since the local Eberron game broke up. My others I've been getting lots of use out of. I just feel sorry for anybody who spent a lot on 3.5 books in the past month.

Never really bought into D&D3e, won't buy into D&D4e either. Too busy working on my Spirit of the Century Amber variant. :)

Based on the info from the official YouTube stuff (what a miserable way to communicate), and, in fact, extrapolating from the fact all the information is on the internet and in a medium that requires broadband access: It's gonna be all about online gaming, babes. That's where all the enhancements are.

My guess is that WotC/RPGA won't be supporting a team to run games at GenCon or anywhere else by 2011. (3 years after the debut, all will be run online. Why bother paying for judges to enter the show, why pay for their rooms? Just release the "premieres" on dates when people used to go to cons, and thus set up the tension between people who want to go and do FTF gaming, vs those who are looking to get the special item released only to online gamers during the show....
